Moratel + XL + FIC/SCAN ?

I unintentionally found a picture below. It could be just an illustration. But it could also be a real plan :-D ... To my guess, it looks similar to the current Excelcomindo + Moratelindo networks combined with the new FIC SCAN system. How good is my guess? What do you think? :-D

Any new development of this new Excelcomindo's submarine cable ? It rumors that the project has already started in December last year (2008) ... Anybody could confirm this ?


XL is currently the third largest operator, which owns the third largest long distance transmission infrastructure (mainly optical transmission cable). I've mentioned about this in several posts previously. As a complement to those, recently some media quoted XL press release regarding their infrastructure in Bangka Belitung (Babel):

I don't have so much information about this issue except a few things below. If I look at the statistics of my blog, I know that some of you might eventually have more information than I :-D . So why don't you share some "public domain" information ? (okay, the magic word - please!)
