Telkom's, XL's, or Moratel's Cable Break?

Several times ago detik.com has reported that Telkom and Excelomindo have experienced problems for their international connections due to submarine cable break(s). You might find the reports here and here. One source also said that three operators in Batam shared the same fate. The question is which cable is/was broken?

As you might already know, Telkom operates TIS cable to connect to Singapore, while XL has BRCS to connect to Sungai Rengit, Johor, MY. Moratel has MIC-1 and Indosat has also some capacity via consortium cables. BSCS and Jakabare aren't officially relased nor carrying commerical traffic, so we might neglect them. Which one is broken? well, it's unlikely that several cable being hit by any anchor at the same time by accident, right?. Besides, if we go back to the condition several days/weeks ago, not so many domestic users complained about network unaccessibility. I my self felt indeed that the connection was slower, but it was still connected at the rate of around one third from the usual average access speed. Go back to the question, using those facts, we might already have a good guess of the answer :-D .. No? Yes? Tell me!

Lastly, I would cite an interesting part of conversations discussing this "cable break" at Opisboy ... :-D
di laut kena jangkar , di udara kena interferensi , di darat kena cangkul ... di tiang kena tebang tukang tebang pohon ... PR nya gak kelar kelar besok gw pulang kampung aja ah nyangkul aja di sawah ... (tm)DA-Opisboyer

"Sawah" shall in this case be a fiber-optic free area, right? Sonst, you'll just create other cable breaks ... :-D ... peace!
