- The TGN-Intra Asia Cable System is a linear cable system between Singapore and Japan with Day-1 branch landings into Hong Kong, Vietnam and the Philippines
- The system is equipped with two additional branching units, which enable entry into other markets, and is designed with four fibre pairs delivering a capacity of at least 3.84 Tbps
- Tata Communications’ TGN-Intra Asia Cable System is a 6,700km multi-terabit cable system connecting Singapore, Hong Kong, and Japan. When combined with Tata Global Network, TIC and Pacific Cable Systems, the TGN-Intra Asia Cable System will complete Tata Communications’ multi-terabit capability from India to Asia and onward to the United States. Through Tata Communications’ partners, EVNTelecom and Globe Telecom, TGN-Intra Asia Cable reaches into Vietnam and the Philippines as well. The system integrates seamlessly with Tata Communications global network infrastructure and is a strong complement to existing regional systems
- The TGN-Intra Asia Cable System is the only direct fibre route between Singapore and Japan offering Asia’s lowest latency with RTD of 63ms. In addition, the system’s unique design bypasses earthquake zones around Taiwan
